JAMMU, Sept 3: The re-election of Sonia Gandhi as president of Congress party was received with joy and jubilations in the rank and file of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee today. Amid celebrations in the PCC headquarters the state leadership and the PCC functionaries extended congratulations to Sonia Gandhi on her re-election as President of the Congress party (INC) for the fourth time today.
The party office presented a bustling look today with huge presence of functionaries and partymen who were seen distributing sweets to celebrate the occasion.
The unopposed election of Smt. Sonia Gandhi as President of AICC demonstrated the trust and respect enjoyed by her in the party, said party spokesperson and General Secretary Ravinder Sharma-MLC.
