| JYB celebrates Janamashtami at Haridwar | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU SEPT 4: Jammu Yatri Bhawan (JYB) Haridwar follows customary occasion to celebrate Krishan Janamashtami for two to three days every year with great pomp and show.
It marks the lighting of Akhand Agni Jawala in the Hawan kund since 13 years ago. A large number of locals as well as pilgrims from Jammu region who go to Haridwar for performing religious rites and take holy dip in the sacred Ganga River participate in the celebrations.
President Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, Pawan Shastri informed that all the donors in various categories and those connected with Jammu Yatri Bhawan in one way or the other are delivered “Janamashtami Prasad” at their places by the management of the trust.
However, those who did not receive the same were informed to collect from Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust office at Gali Darugiran leading from Kanak Mandi, Rajinder Bazaar Chowk on one side and opposite Tourist Reception Centre Residency Road on the other side.
