JK Bank ATMs dispense Rs 17 crore on Jumat-ul-Vida | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Sept 4: On the eve of Jumat-ul-Vida, more than Rs.17 crore were withdrawn through 51000 transactions from the J&K Bank ATMs by the bank customers across the Kashmir valley. J&K Bank has more than 150 ATMs in the valley which continue to render better and faster financial services to the people of the valley in all circumstances. Almost Rs.4 crores in cash were withdrawn from just 15 ATMs of the bank that usually experience better foot-fall of the bank’s valuable customers in Srinagar, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Sopore, Kupwara, Kulgam and Baramulla. In border district of Kupwara, around Rs.40 lacs were withdrawn on the said day. Whileas Rs.65 lacs were disbursed in district Baramulla alone which includes Rs.41 lacs in Sopore. In Anantnag district the cash withdrawal through these machines was above Rs.30 lacs during the said day. Meanwhile, cash amounting to Rs.12 crore approximately was withdrawn on September 4 through J&K Bank ATMs across the valley. Over 34000 were conducted on these machines.
