| Free eye check camp at Billawar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 4: A day long free eye check camp was held at Hari Prabhu Ashray Nagrota Billawar in collaboration with Rotary eye and ENT department of Udhampur hospital today.
During the camp, 200 eye patients were treated, out of which 28 cataract patients were screened for implantation of OIL. Hari Prabhu Sanstha also honoured Nasreen Khan, Prabha Jain for being awarded “Silver Elephant Award and Silver Star Award,” the highest award of BSG by president of India, Pratibha Devi Singh Patil and also honoured Shakuntla Joshi for getting Sadh Bhavna award from Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad. I.D. Soni, chief patron presented momentos on behalf of Sanstha such highest honour and bringing laurels for Jammuites.
Sanstha also provided financial help for the marriage of orphan and poor girls who belongs to village Kohage, tehsil Billawar.
Other prominent persons who graced the occasion were Col. D.K. Nanda, Rattan Lal Mahajan, Rtn. P.L. Suri, Rtn Kamal Gupta and Shakti Sharma.
