| Amandeep Singh murder case transferred to 2nd Addl Sessions Judge Jammu | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sep 04: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu on personal reasons has transferred the much publicized murder case of Amandeep Singh to the Court of 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu.
The 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Vinod Chatterji Koul while fixing September 25, 2010 for arguments on Charge has observed that this case received today from the Principal Sessions Judge Jammu be diarized. Accused namely Jatinder Singh alias Raja, Royal Singh, then SSP Manohar Singh, then SHO Sultan Mirza, Sub-Inspector Satnam Singh, Battastic Expert FSL Sujat Bukari, Constable Raj, Chodhary Nagar Singh, Choduhary Rakesh Singh, except Choudhary Jagar Singh present in Custody whereas Choudhary Jaggar was present with his counsel. Special PP and counsel appearing for the accused also present, since the case has been received today, the arguments on the charge could not be heard. Counsel for the accused seeks time for arguments. At request of the Special PP and counsel for the accused the case is fixed for arguments on September 25, 2010.
It is worth mentioning here on August 29, 2009 the murder of Amandeep Singh s/o Former MLC & Advocate presently PDP Leader Deepinder Kour took place. The main accused Jatinder Singh s/o Choudhary Nagar Singh was arrested on August 30, 2009 and accused Royal Singh was also arrested and later and weapon of offence was recovered from them. It was alleged that the weapon of offence was allegedly changed by the Choudhary brothers by hatching criminal conspiracy with the police officers and FSL officials, all the police officials & FSL officials were arrested in fudging of evidence whereas the Choudhary brothers surrendered before the Court on November 17, 2009.
