| Court denies bail to Nalva, orders his shifting to hospital | | Narwal Double Murder case | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sep 04: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu AK Shan today dismissed the bail application of alleged accused Ranjodh Singh alias Nalva involved in Narwal Double Murder case.
The bail application was filed through Advocate RK Kotwal on medical grounds. Court directed that accused be examined by a Board of Doctors. The Board had submitted its report. Court said that in the report the treatment ailment is available in GMC Jammu. Presently there is no immediate danger to the life of alleged accused. The Special Public Prosecutor Advocate Sunil Sethi with Advocate Vishal Kapur submitted that when accused can be treated in GMC Jammu for the disease which is not so dangerous, then choice of accused for treatment outside the State cannot prevail and even for treatment in state, interim bail cannot also be granted.
Principal Sessions Judge Jammu after hearing both sides further observed that in this case yet charged have not been framed, so it will be premature to discuss the involvement or non-involvement of accused in Crime mentioned in bail application and ordered for treatment of accused as suggested by Medical Board as his health is of prime concern and also directed Supt District Jail Jammu to shift the accused in proper custody to GMC Jammu forthwith so that surgery of spine is performed and treatment for other ailment is provided at an earliest. He shall submitted compliance report within two days and subsequently submit progress report of accused and result of surgery/treatment which shall be managed at State expenses. With these observations Court dismissed bail application of alleged accused Ranjodh Singh alias Nalva allegedly master mind of Narwal Double Murder case.
Surinder Singh alias Kala s/o Isher Singh has deposed before the police that on February 5, 2010 at about 5:30 PM Gurnam Singh brother and Rajinder Singh Maternal uncle were standing near the shop 104 whereas Devinder Singh alias Bunty, Gurvinder Pal Singh were also present there, whereas the complainant was also standing there, a car No 3812-JK02V came there and hit Rajinder Singh intentionally whereas Ajit Singh alias Kala, Milkha Singh, Jatinder Singh alias Kala, Paramjeet Singh alias Pummy, Jeeta driver of Milkha Singh were in the car, the came out from the car and started attack with sharp edge weapons and Danda, at this stage complainant raised alarm, all the five accused after seriously injured both deceased and ran away. Devinder Singh alias Bunty and Gurdyal Singh took the injured to GMC Jammu during that period Rajinder Singh told the complainant that during the noon on the loading of vehicles there was quarrel between the accused persons who threatened to kill the deceased whereas this conspiracy has been hatched on the behest of one Narinder Singh alias Pummy, when the both the injured reached GMC, the doctor declared Gurnam Singh brought dead whereas later on Rajinder Singh also succumbed to injuries.
Police registered a FIR u/s 302/147/148/149/120-B r/w section 201 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act where as against accused Ranjodh Singh & , Narinder Singh alias Pummy case u/s 302/120-B RPC was registered. Whereas on the disclosure of Jatinder Singh alias Kala and Paramjeet Singh alias Pummy the weapons used in the double murder case was recovered from the bushes. It was alleged in the challan there was old enmity between the accused the deceased persons over the loading of vehicles in the Fruit Mandi Narwal. JNF |
