| Guest lecture by Del Monte at SET | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 4: Area Manager (South India) of Del-Monte Abhijit Magotrab today visited SET Business School and delivered a lecture to the management students.
Field Fresh Foods Private Limited, a Sister Concern of Bharti Airtel, is better known as Del-Monte branded FMCG products like tomato Ketchup, Mocktails, & other packaged food products with a turn over of a few thousand crores.
Lecture started with a brief profile of the company followed by introductory interaction with the staff and students. The theme of the lecture was “Career Prospects of MBA professionals” debating on the “Learning-Sharing-Teaching” paradigm through through different stages.
Students were advised to avoid any overlapping between the three stages be it during study or during profession, learning is the first stage, to acquire adequate knowledge about the world around, followed by sharing & teaching to attain success. Students should fix the target of they want to be in after 15 years & have to orient themselves during these two years of education.
The lecture was motivating and the interaction session was lively. Prof. J.R. Panda, the Director of the SET Business School welcomed the guest & apprised the students about the institution, curriculum and its linkages with the corporate world.
