Niaz seeks impartial inquiry

JAMMU, Sept 4: Senior Congress leader and MLA Bhaderwah Mohammed Sharief Niaz has expressed grief and shock over death of 27 year old youth Mohammed Rafi in police custody.
In a handout issued here today, Niaz has alleged that the said Tata Sumo driver was allegedly , physically and publically tortured by Thathri Police. He has further said that if the driver had committed any crime, he should have been dealt legally and not tortured physically which forced him to commit suicide .
Niaz demanded that an impartial enquiry be conducted in this case immediately and the police personals responsible for the death of Mohd Rafi be taken to task under law of the land.
