Batote, Sep 04: Kalra B.Ed college celebrated teachers day with great pomp and show under the chairmanship of SP Kalra. While speaking on the occasion, the faculties Sweeta Sharma, Isha Sharma, Sukhvinder Kour, Seema Sharma highlighted the importance of celebrating ‘Teachers Day’ the day also reminds us about the greatness of our former president Dr. S. Radhakirshnan who had blessed the students to celebrate September 5th every year as ‘Teacher Day’. A teacher is an important part of our society who makes the career of a students. A student treads only on the path shown by his teacher, as such it can be well said that the backbone of our society and culture is only a teacher. The relation between a student and teacher is like that of a Guru and his disciple, said Isha Sharma. The students Bandana, Nazia and Rohit also spokw on the occasion. The celebration was closed with thanks giving address by the chairman, SP Kalra.
