| JWAM seeks restoration of peace, normalcy | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 4: Jammu West Assembly Movement has sought immediate restoration of peace and normalcy across the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that a Dharna was held by president of the movement Sunil Dimple. Large number of prominent citizens, Heads of various organisations, intellectuals and traders sat on Dharna for the restoration of peace and normalcy andagainst grant of autonomy.
Sunil Dimple urged the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that the handful of Pak sponsored separatists leaders have held people of entire Kashmir valley hostage by frequently issuing their agitational calendar. He further urged UPA Chairpersons Sonia Gandhi and the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to take serious note of the activities of the China and Pakistan on the borders.
Prominent leaders who sat on Dharna included Dr. Sham Saroop O.P Jandyal, B.L Saini, Mohan Lal Sharma, Sanjay Nagraj, Kulwant Sharma,Kuldeep Mangotra, Subash Gupta, Tarseem Lal, Bhar Bushan Bhat, C.L Watal, Sahil Gupta, Ashok Aggarwal, Bhatia and many others.
