| PSSP condemn removing of AFSPA | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 11: The Poorva Sainik Sewa Parishad (PSSP) of J&K have condemned of any proposal to remove Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) from any part of the state. As per press release PSSP this act deals with the insurgency operations in north east and J&K. the lost of hue and cry by various sections of the separatists group to remove AFSPA are bent upon to destabilize the civil administration only to advance there own self interest and create anti-national feeling among the masses. The release further add, that it is strange that nationalists are treated shabbily by the govt. and the stone pelters/people who instigate the younger generation for such unlawful activities are provided with all facilities and promised with the employment package for pelting stones at security forces, burning of their vehicles attacking the posts of security forces etc. the Poorv Sainiks view it seriously and condemn any such proposal to either repeal, dilute or remove (AFSPA) from any district of the state. It is worth mentioning that Army and other security forces are working under unusual circumstances and hence they deserve and legal protection in the form of (AFSPA). Col. V.S Magotra, NK Karan Singh and Brig RS Jamwal were present.
