| Separatist movement, negation of all fundamental rights: PK | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 11: Creation of union territory of ‘Panun Kashmir,’ is the only prescription for the reversal of genocide of Kashmiri Hindus which have been subjected by Jehadi war groups and Muslim terrorist regimes in Kashmir valley.
Addressing a joint press conference here today the Panun Kashmir (PK) leaders Dr Ajay Chrungoo, Prof. Hari Om and Dr. M.K. Teng said, that the situation in Kashmir has once again demonstrated the communal exclusivist and extremely regressive ideological content of all variants of separatist campaign going on their. The creation of centrally administered territory in Kashmir province, situated to the North and East of River Jehlum, for rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus driven out of the valley from time to time and in 1990, now more than a million people, has become an imperative necessity. The Government of India and the Indian political class must recognize this necessity to save the integrity and sovereignty of the Indian nation in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and initiate a dialogue with Panun Kashmir on the issue without any delay.
Panun Kashmir wants to state very clearly without mincing any words that Kashmir is neither a Muslim preserve nor is it a no-man’s land. Government of India has no mandate to convert it into a Muslim preserve. They said and added Panun Kashmir symbolizes the resistance of Hindus of Kashmir against all forms of Muslim separatism in the state including the claim for autonomous Muslim majority identity Panun Kashmir condemns the anti-national, brazenly communal, separatist and secessionist agitation which is going on in Kashmir for quite some time with the help of Pakistan and other hidden enemies of India and wants to unequivocally state that the Indian freedom envisaged by transfer of power in India did not give any community, any people or even any ethnic or religious identity the right to divide India.
Panun Kashmir recognizes that all the variants of separatism in Jammu and Kashmir are benefit of any commitment to the right to equality, the right to freedom and liberty and the right to protection against discrimination. Panun Kashmir recognizes separatist movement in Kashmir valley as negation of all fundamental rights.
Panun Kashmir as such calls upon all patriotic people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir and rest of India to support the creation of Union territory of Panun Kashmir North and East of river Jehlum in Kashmir for the rehabilitation of Kashmir Hindus and other patriotic people who believe in free flow of Indian constitution and upholding of fundamental rights as envisaged in it.
