| Army organizes medical camp at Mahore | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
REASI, Sept 11: As a part of the ongoing efforts to provide a healing touch and to bring normalcy in the militancy affected areas of Tehsil- Mahore, District- Reasi, the Rashtriya Rifles garrison located at Sarh and Mahore organized various medical camps for the people of Mahore, Sarh, Sajruand and Budhan here yesterday.
The aim of the medical camp was to extend medical aid to the needy population of Mahore Teshil and adjacent remote villages where the medical cover from civil administration hardly reaches due to the inhospitable terrain. The medical camps was conducted by the RMO & a lady medical officer who were assisted by two Nursing assistants. The medical camp witnessed a huge turnot of residents of Mahore, Sarh, Sajru and Budhan and adjoining villages who were treated for their ailments and were also given medicines. Cases who needed immediate medical attention were indentified and given priority in treatment. Serious cases which needed further follow up were referred to the Government hospital in Mahore.
Majority of women 7 children were diagonosed with Anaemia & Dermatological infections. They were advised by the medical team to maintain hygienic conditions and improve the eating habits to prevent such diseases.
