| INIFD organizes fresher party | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 11: INIFD Jammu centre organized a fresher party on Saturday, to welcome the new students joining the INIFD. The newly arrived fresher were very excited and eager to participate in the Talent Round. In this Talent Round students introduce themselves by an individual display talent, which ranged from entertaining the audience by singing a melodious song or a dance performance or even telling rib tickling jokes. The general consensus was that the new batch of INIFD is indeed oozing with its talents.
The events also marked the fare well of the passing out INIFD batch of 2009-2010 session. The theme for the older students was Different Drapes for Saree. The INIFdians rocked the events with full enthusiasm by handling the chorography, designing nd modeling on their own. The passing out students then shared their experiences at INIFD with the audience and talked about their growth and exposure that was provided to them.
Vinita Thakur asked the students to strive for excellence is what INIFD is known for the purpose is to make the students well equipped and ready industrial requirements. She also congratulated Avantika Kotwal, Harpreet Kour and Ritika Riana on their maiden entry into Lakhme Fashion week where their designs will be put on this play along with other designers Ritu Kumar, Manish Malhotra, Neeta Lulla at Grand Hyatt Mumbai form September 17 to 23.
Vinita Thakur was also full of praises for Priya Jasrotia, Priya Mahajan, Pawan and Parmesh who came back from Mumbai after assisting Mandira Virk and Shantanu. The winners of the Talent Round include Archana Gupta, who was adjudged MISS Fresher while Surjit bagged Mr Fresher title. Sunita Dogra was declared Miss INIFD while Arun Gupta crowned as Mr INIFD.
