CRPF extends financial help to martyr cop

KATHUA, Sept 27: A programme was organised by the 121 Btn CRPF to extend financial help to the family of the martyr J&K police personnel 904/k Firdoz Ahamad , resident of Thal Lohai tehsil Billawar of district Kathua, who laid down his life while fighting with anti-national elements in Jammu and Kashmir. The 121 battalion of CRPF commandant Vijayandra Singh Zune handed over the cheques of Rs 3 lacs which was sponsored by the union government of India to widow of martyr Firdoz Ahamad Gulshan Bano and their two children son Haron Dildar (9) and daughter Sazia Bano (6) . He said that this financial support is given by the centre government to the family of martyr as per the family welfare schemes especially launched for martyr’s families for their further survival with full respect and dignity. He further said that Ra one lac has been fixed deposited on the name of each member of the family of the martyr. On the occasion, the Additional SP along with all police officers, senior most members of the concerned Panchyat of the martyrs and were present.
