Jammu celebrates Anand Utsav 2016 with Sri Sri through webcast

JAMMU, August 22 : Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of The Art of Living today conducted The Happiness Program for one lakh people in India. From de-addiction centers in Punjab to remotest corners in Tripura and Assam, from Latur in Maharashtra to Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh, from Jammu to Kanyakumari, people connected virtually to learn the techniques for a happy, joyful and stress-free life Nationwide thru event called ANAND UTSAV 2016.
Approximately, 1800 centres across India had organized The Art of Living's signature Happiness programs with Gurudev. This is the first time he is teaching the Sudarshan kriya online, since the inception of The Art of Living connecting India Virtually online thru Webcast. Touching upon the current issues of youth suicide and depression, Gurudev shared a few practical principles to combat feelings of low-self esteem, interpersonal conflicts and violence. Sharing wisdom with humor, participants learnt the skill to be equanimous under praise or criticism.
In Jammu region participants joined in hundreds at 9-10 different locations from all walks of life & backgrounds and religion-farmers, doctors, homemakers, IT professionals, war veterans, youth, businessmen, industrialists, people from govt and private sectors ,lawyers and many others, connecting humanity through the power of breath.
"I feel lighter. All the points of wisdom that Gurudev taught are so apt and important for, both, my professional and personal life. I would love all the subordinates and officers in my state to experience this," shares an Army officer posted in Jammu.
The AOL Centres which organised the happiness course were Gian Mandir & AOL meditation Centre at Trikuta Nagar, Gian Shalla at Gandhi nagar, Sri Sri Dhyan Kendra at Shakti nagar, AOL mediation centre at Prem nagar, Parihar traders at Janipur,Louis Braille Memorial Hall Roopnagar along with Udhampur and Kathua centres.The AOL Jammu faculty and Volunteers who did commendable job in organising and assisting Gurudev Sri Sri were Rajan Salalia,STC Sh Delair singh & Ravinder Mansotra,DTCs, Bharat Bhushan phull,Smt Prabha Slathia, Manju agarwal,ajay gupta,Poonam mishra,Tejasvi gupta,sunita cherwo, Sunil Sharma, bhagwati ji,shakti sagar,suman Sharma, neelam Sharma,renu agarwal,anu gujral,kirti Sharma ,menu singh, Aanchal talla and other senior faculty members along a dedicated team of volunteers, ajay kapoor joint State media coordinator of Art of Living updated.
At Banglore Ashram 3200 people also joined the course from across the country with Yagnashala the venue brimming with energy. Over the last 35 years, the program has brought together people from various walks of life, backgrounds and religion-farmers, doctors, homemakers, militants, IT professionals, war veterans, youth, businessmen, lawyers and many others, connecting humanity through the power of breath.
