Jammu, Aug 22: Second Additional Sessions Judge Sanjay Parihar today framed charges against 10 persons for attacking a Kashmir-based truck at Udhampur in October 2015.
The charges were framed under sections 120-B, 302, 307, 435, 149, 427 and 336 of RPC read with section 3/5 of Explosive Substances Act against Varinder Singh, Danish, Haresh Singh, Sindoor Singh, Rahul Sharma, Rameshwar Singh, Balram Singh, Ameet Singh, Rohit Sharma and Jasbir Singh. The court, however, discharged Vikas Sharma at the stage of framing charges.
According to the case, the accused had allegedly stoned Kashmir based vehicles and threw petrol bombs on them on October 9, 2015 at about 11.45 pm, causing injuries to Zahid Ahmad and other occupants of truck No JK03D/1142. Zahid died on October 18, 2015. |
