Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 22: The crime branch (CB) of police presented fourth challan in ETT scam in the court of special judge, anti-corruption, Sanjeev Gupta here today. The challan was produced against then director academics and BOSE secretary, Dr Shiekh Bashir Ahmed, son of Miyan Mohammad Sultan of Pahilipora Safapora, Ganderbal, Giani Lal Singh ETT institute's promoter Deep Singh, son of Himmat Singh of Gole, Bachpan Playway ETT Institute's promoter Gurwinder Singh, son of Jarnail Singh of Nanak Nagar, Guru Nanak ETT Institute's Harbans Singh, son of Bishan Singh of Kunjwani Talab, and Surya ETT and Research Institute's promoter Surjeet Singh Jamwal, son of VidyaSagar Singh of ward No 10, Kathua. Accused Manju Gupta is, however, dead. In the challan, CB also recommended departmental action against Garpal Singh, son of Hakam Singh, and NarinderKour, wife of Gurpal Singh, both residents of Ajit Nagar, as they remained associated with the trust being the government employees. The judge, after going through the challan, fixed September 6, 2016 for arguments. The scam was unearthed following a communication made to CB IGP by the BOSE chairman on September 3, 2013 along with the inquiry report of joint secretary legal (KD), BOSE, Srinagar. |
