Under-trial in rape, double murder attempts suicide 10/23/2016 12:26:24 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 22: An under-trial allegedly involved in rape and double murder case today reportedly tried to end his life by swallowing a bulb at District Jail Udhampur where he was lodged and later was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for specialized treatment. "The accused has been identified as Pawan (38) son of Ram Saran of Reasi, police sources said. Sources said that the under trial fell unconscious here today and other inmates reported to Jail authorities and it was during preliminary questioning Pawan revealed that he had consumed an electric bulb. He was immediately shifted to District Hospital (DH) Udhampur wherein doctors after preliminary treatment referred him to GMC&H Jammu for further treatment.
