JAMMU, Jan 27: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta today hoisted the National Flag at multiple locations across the Gandhi Nagar constituency to mark the 76th Republic Day. Amidst patriotic fervor, he extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the entire nation, emphasizing India's rapid strides under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing gatherings at different venues, Kavinder Gupta highlighted how India has emerged as a global powerhouse, with its rich culture and heritage being recognized on the world stage. He credited PM Modi's dynamic governance for transforming the country into a self-reliant and progressive nation, ensuring holistic development in every sector.
"The Indian Constitution has bestowed upon us invaluable rights and freedoms, but with these rights come responsibilities," he said. "Today, as we celebrate this historic occasion, let us take a solemn pledge to uphold the values of unity, integrity, and national service."
He urged citizens, especially the youth, to contribute actively towards nation-building, preserving the democratic ethos, and strengthening the spirit of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.' He emphasized that the New India envisioned by PM Modi is one that empowers every citizen, embraces its cultural roots, and leads the world in innovation and growth.
As the tricolor fluttered proudly across different parts of Jammu, patriotic songs, cultural performances, and enthusiastic participation from various sections of society marked the celebrations. Kavinder Gupta reaffirmed the BJP's commitment to serving the people and ensuring that Jammu and Kashmir continues to progress alongside the rest of the nation.
