JAMMU, Jan 27: Unique International Public School (UIPS) celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The event was a tribute to India's journey as a Republic, acknowledging the sacrifices of the past and embracing the bright future ahead. The chief guest for the occasion, Col. Ravinder Sharma, added pride to the celebrations with his distinguished service to the nation. Ms. Randeep Kour, the event in-charge, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, dignitaries, staff, and students.
The Principal, Mr. Ajay Sharma, delivered a stirring speech, emphasizing the importance of Republic Day in fostering unity, equality, and constitutional values. He highlighted the nation's achievements and reminded the youth of their responsibility to uphold the ideals of the Constitution, saying, "It is our duty to uphold the ideals of our Constitution and work together to build a progressive and inclusive India."
Flag Hoisting Ceremony: The Chief Guest unfurled the Tricolor, followed by the National Anthem, evoking pride and patriotism.
Cultural Performances: Students showcased India's rich heritage with vibrant dance performances, patriotic songs, and a skit portraying the values of the Constitution.
