Jammu-Srinagar come closer, Banihal bypass completed | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 5: The ambitious project of the widening of the Jammu-Srinagar national highway is also moving towards completion as the four-lane Banihal Bypass project has been completed.
This announcement was made by Nitin Gadkari Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India.
Travel time between Jammu and Srinagar will decrease further after completion of this vital four-lane bypass bridge in Banihal town.
Initially, authorities will open one double lane of the bypass, while its second tube will be opened for traffic after 15 days when its junction with the highway is completed.
