Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 29: Although annoyed Lok Sabha member Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal has called himself a loyal BJP Karyakarta, the party high command has deputed Union Minister Kiren Rijiju to manage things in Ladakh. Kiren Rijiju reached Leh on Monday afternoon and started held closed door meetings with senior BJP leaders, workers and some prominent Buddhist leaders of Ladakh. NEW DELHI, Apr 29: The National Eligibility Test (NET) has been rescheduled to avoid a clash with the UPSC preliminary exam and will now be conducted on June 18, UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar announced on Monday. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on June 16. “The National Testing Agency and UGC have decided to shift the UGC-NET from 16 June (Sunday) to 18 June 2024 (Tuesday) because of feedback received from candidates about the exam clashing with UPSC prelims. NEW DELHI, Apr 29: The Supreme Court on Monday refused to entertain a plea seeking postponement of certain papers of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) exams scheduled for May on account of the Lok Sabha polls. A bench comprising Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud and justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra said the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has not fixed the examination on election dates.
