JAMMU, Jan 10: The students of Humanity Public School (Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana) brought laurels to the school by winning seven medals in the 10th National Matsogi -do Championship 2014.
According to press release, the championship was organised by Matsogi-Do Association of Delhi in collaboration with Matsogi-Do Federation of India.
Kuljeet Singh of 9th standard and Mansi Lalotra of 7th standard clinched the Gold Medals along with the cash prize of Rs.400 each while Navjyoti Verma of 7th standard won the Silver medal whereas Bronze medals were won by Akashdeep Singh & Anshu Kumari of 7th standard, Swati Sharma of 6th standard and Deepak Kumar of 5th standard. Participation prizes were given to Aryan Jamwal, Paras Gandhi, Aryan Gupta, Danish Sharma, Ramu Kumar and Mehak Sharma.
On this occasion Principal of the school said that the school management is leaving no stone unturned to promote Physical Education in school and in this regard sports infrastructure are being upgraded & enhanced in the school every year for providing platform to the students to take part in different sports activities at various levels (i.e. Zonal, District, Division, State, National & Inter-national).
