PDP shows concern against increase in Drug abuse, misuse of Social media 1/18/2015 10:42:48 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Jan 18 : Peoples Democratic Party has expressed deep concern over increasing drug abuse and misuse of social media in district Kishtwar which is creating a deep impact on the society and youth in particular. While addressing Press confrence at Kishtwar, party youth leder and President PDP Labour Cell Kishtwar Wasil Doolwal said that prevelant use of banned drugs among the youth of Kishtwar has reached an alarming stage and failure of government authorities to take preventive measures in compounding the issue. He said that there is urgent need to create special teams of health and police to keep a check on drug abuse so that the society could be saved from the deadly menance. The PDP leader said that the number of the medical shops in the district are selling banned drugs to the youth on exhorbetent rates without medical prescription and the concerned authorities are witnessing the same as mute spectators . Doolwal also expresse concern over the misuse of social network websites in the district, added that some people are using fake ID's on websites like Facebook to create hatred among the people by uploading mischievous and anti national posts.
