CPPWU expresses concern over use of substandard material on Kishtwar-Paddar road | | | Early Times Report
Kisthwar, Jan 18: Power Projects Workers Union (CPPWU) Chairman Joginder Bhandari expressed concern over the use of substandard material by 118 RCC BEACON on Kishtwar Paddar road. According to press release, chairman Joginder Bhandari said that the BEACON authorities were using substandard material as a result of which deep pitches have been developed at many places on same road causing constant accidents. While, leader of the union Mudassir Naik urged upon the Union Transport Minister to immediately take necessary action against the officers of 118 RCC for use of substandard material on the said road. Meanwhile, Tariq Patri, Senior president of the union has demanded enhancement of labour wages engaged in BEACON and provision of final retrenchment compensation in favour of the labourers engaged in 118 RCC for the last 20 years before handing over to them in PWD(R&B). |
