srinagar, Feb 4: J&K Casual Daily Wagers Forum on Wednesday demanded regularization of all daily wagers who have been engaged in various Government departments after March 1994.
Forum president, Sajad Ahmd Parrey threatened that hundreds of daily wagers have decided to come on roads in case government delayed their regularization.
"All the daily wagers working in different government departments including, PHE, Tourism, Agriculture, Forest, R&B, Horticulture, PDD have decided to organize a protest in Srinagar on February 12 in favour of their demands," the statement reads. The Forum said that about 57,000 families are involved with these daily wagers who have been eagerly waiting for their regularization.
