Kathua Administration listen grievances of public | Xen remains absent, ADDC seeks explanation | | Early Times Report
kathua, Feb 4: Kathua Administration took an initiative to listen grievances of the public through telephonic calls under ongoing Paryas scheme that was launched nearly one year ago. According to norms, all district level officers working in different public department have to be present on every Wednesday in Conference Hall of DDC Complex, Kathua. In the absence of Dr Shahid Iqbal, DDC Kathua who was on leave, Narinder Singh Bali, ADDC Kathua today presided over the programme and listened the grievances of the public through telephone. People expressed resentment against scarcity of drinking water supply in different villages but astonishingly, Rajiv Gupta, X En PHE (Mechanical wing), was not present on the occasion without prior intimation to ADDC about his absence from the programme. In this regard, Narinder Singh Bali, ADDC Kathua issued an explanation call against X En PHE (Mech.) and ordered to reply the call within days where X En has to explain about his absence from the most prestigious initiative being taken by Kathua administration in favor of people to redress their demands within a week. While interacting to media, Bali said stern action will be taken against the officer if anything found lethargic in the part of the officers. |
