MLA alleges scam in ration carriage in Budhal-Darhal areas

rajouri, Feb 4: Alleging scandal in distribution of free ration to flood affected people, Member Legislative Assembly Darhal Budhal Chowdhary Zulfikar Ali has said that deserved people are ignored and blue eyed are being given this ration which is injustice to the flood victims.
According to press release, Zulfikar Ali said that he has received large scale complaints of biased distribution of free ration. He said that those who are deserved are not being given the same and those who have suffered no loss have been given it.
He said that there are also large scale complaints that this free ration are being given in less scale than the ordered scale of government which has also put question mark on the functioning of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department. MLA has urged upon higher authorities to get the reports verified and distribute free ration as per scale and to the deserved people of Darhal and Budhal constituency. Expressing anguish over the distribution system of CAPD, MLA said that people of Budhal Darhal are being given general ration on the Population figures of year 2000. He said that during the last 15 years, population has increased in many folds however there is no increase in quota. Alleging mis management in CAPD, MLA said that in Budhal and Darhal areas CAPD is supplying ration to road side areas from where dealers distribute the same.
He said that if department is paying carriage in crores of rupees to inaccessible areas why they are distributing ration from road side. He said that some department officials are putting dust in the eyes of the higher ups and they are involved in mis-management which is getting bad name for the department. He said that if the practice will be followed in future, he will not spare anybody and will recommend strict action against these employees.
