7 bovine animals rescued,2 vehicles seized 2/4/2015 11:39:57 PM early times report Jammu, Feb 4 : Akhnoor police foiled a bovine smuggling bid and rescued seven bovine animals in two different locations of Akhnoor here on Wednesday. As per reports, during naka checking at Akhnoor Morh, police gave halt signal to a Bolero load carrier bearing registration number JK02BJ/9285. The driver of the vehicle on seeing the police party left the vehicle and escaped from the spot.During frisking police recovered five bovine animals. In the similar incident, another police party at naka point, intercepted a Mahindra load carrier bearing registration number JK20/ 5057 and rescued 2 bovine animals from it . The driver of the vehicle managed to escape taking the advantage of the darkness.
