Restoration of road, steps to combat Swine Flu demanded 2/20/2015 10:28:18 PM Early Times Report Ramban, Feb 20: Banihal unit of National Conference on Friday expressed serious concern over disruption in various services, especially the closure of interior roads due to rains and snow and urged the Governor's Administration to take immediate effective measures for their immediate restoration. National Conference leader Sajjad Shahenn said that all link roads connecting Banihal with Neel, Khari, Mahu-Mangit,Trigam, Senabati, Pogal, Sumar,Thachi are closed and the people of these areas were facing enormous problems. He urged Governor N. N. Vohra to pass on instructions to all concerned for taking up restoration works on immediate basis, as almost entire road communication network has got affected due to snow, which has hampered the movement of people and transportation of essentials. Shaheen also referred to the panic generated in the entire Banihal constituency in the wake of the outbreak of Swine Flu(H1N1) in Kashmir and said the local health institutions were not capable to meet the challenge.
