Rain affects athletics, archery events 2/20/2015 10:30:53 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 20: The overnight rain fall in the city badly affected the ongoing annual inter-college athletics meet of University of Jammu (JU) and Jammu district and invitational archery tournament at different venues, here today. There was hardly any activity at the JU grounds where athletics events were scheduled on the second day of the competition today by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, JU. At Mini Stadium, Parade where archery event is being conducted by the J&K Archery Association, the organising committee could not hold any activity because of water logging in the ground. Now, the organisers of both the events have decided to start early tomorrow so as to complete the competition by the afternoon.
