Danish inaugurates diabetics screening camp 2/20/2015 11:21:24 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 20: A diabetics screening camp under National Health Mission in collaboration with district Health Society Udhampur was organised at SK Police Academy Udhampur. The camp was inaugurated by IGP, Director Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Danesh Rana. According to press release, during inaugural address Director Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur described his discomfort over the growing menace of diabetes among common masses specially youngsters and stressed upon the safety measures to be taken care of for sound mind in sound body. He appreciated the role of such societies and other NGO's working for the welfare of mankind and contributing towards the society by arranging such camps. He also desired to organise more camps for general check-up, blood donation, eye's check-up etc at SKPA Udhampur. Director, staff and trainee officers and officials were tested for diabetic's by Dr. Janak Raj, Dr. Ronika Sharma (programme manager) and Dr. Narinder Gupta PMO SK Police Academy Udhampur. Other officers who were present on the occasion were AD (Admn) Sh. Shiv Kumar Sharma, AD (I) Ravinder Kumar Rao, AD (O) Sh.
