| Minor raped in Jammu, hunt to nab rapist | | |

Jammu, Feb 25: A three-year-old girl was reportedly raped by an unidentified person in Chinore area causing severe injuries to the minor girl while police have launched a massive manhunt to nab the accused.
According to police sources, the incident took place on Tuesday when the girl's parents, who are migrant labourers had gone out to work and their two other children were at school and the three-year-old girl was all alone at home."
Quoting family members, sources said, "When they (parents) returned they found her lying unconscious in a pool of blood with severe injuries on her private parts.
A police officer while confirming the incident said, "The girl was rushed to a hospital for treatment where the doctors confirmed rape. He said condition of the girl continues to be critical. He said that a case under FIR 63/2015 u/s 376 has been registered at Police Post Chinore and manhunt has been launched to nab the culprit. |
