SRINAGAR, Feb 25: As per communication of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, there is medium danger of avalanches from February 25 to February 26, 2015 in avalanche prone areas of Bandipora, Baramulla, Anantnag, Kulgam, Pulwama, Ganderbal and Kargil districts of Kashmir Division. However, high danger avalanche warning exists for avalanche prone areas in Kupwara district. The Deputy Commissioners of Bandipora, Baramulla, Anantnag, Kulgam, Pulwama, Ganderbal and Kargil districts have been asked to advise people not to venture out in avalanche prone areas. Meanwhile, the people of these areas are also advised to temporarily evacuate those locations which are under fall line of avalanches. |
