| Swine flu awareness camp held at BGSBU | | |

Rajouri, Feb 25 : Maximum number of students undergoing various courses at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) at Rajouri belongs to Kashmir valley and the entire valley presently is under the grip of swine flu. Though the university has its own health center and there is proper check on the health issue yet the BGSBU authorities are not taking any risk and holding frequent awareness prog-rammes . Today students from all the departments, hostels and staff members were educated about swine flu virus by a team of experts from Health department. Pertinently the Health Authorities at Rajouri besides identification of two isolation wards at district hospital have no other facilities like swine flu medicines ,experts to check swine flu virus/symptoms. Vice Chancellor Prof Irshad A Hamal had issued instruction to create awareness among the staff and students following which Registrar Mohammad Rashid Cho-wdhary convened meeting of all the hostel wardens, health officials and water supply officials and instructed them to spread the message to the students to take necessary precautions for tackling the preventive measures of the virus. |
