| GDC Billawar felicitates students | | |

KATHUA, Feb 25 : Government Degree College, Billawar felicitated the students who brought laurels inter-college athletics meet organised University of Jammu, Jammu. According to press release a felicitation function was held in the GDC, Billawar to felicitate the students who brought laurels to the college in recently concluded inter-college athletics meet organised by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education University of Jammu, Jammu. A total of 24 students including 17 male and 7 female participated in the meet. Ankit Sharma of BSc. Part- III bagged two medals, one gold and one bronze in the 100 and 200 meter respectively. He also broke the earlier university record of 100 meter by accomplishing it in 11 sec. Both Narinder Sharma of BSc. Part-I and Pooja Sharma of BA Part-I bagged bronze medal in 10 km and 1.5 km race respectively. Dr. Netar Singh principal of the college congratulated the winners and physical coordinator of the college Mukesh Sharma for their achievements. |
