| Sant Rocha Singh College holds farewell party | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 25: The students of Sant Rocha Singh Degree College gave warm adieu to the outgoing classes of BCA, BBA and BSc –Part III, here today.
Dr. Nater Singh, Principal of the College alongwith HOD Botony Prof H K Kapoor inaugurated the programme with the lighting of ceremonial lamp.
Addressing the gathering, Principal wished the outgoing classes a bright and vibrant future, and good health. He said that coming together and parting is way of life and students should judiciously utilize, the moments spend in the institute to build up a career to fortify their future.
In his message, Prof Ranbir Singh, Ex DSW University of Jammu and Chairman of the College stressed upon the students to inculcate discipline and punctuality in their life. He said that with these virtues and experience gained from College, they will surely be able to face the challenges in their coming life.
A scintillating cultural programme was also performed on the occasion by the students. The flamboyant performances clubbed with emotional speeches of the students filled with melancholy blended the farewell function in a unique amalgam of joy and sorrow. Other faculty members present on the occasion included Prof Vinod Saini, Prof S M Sharma, Prof Kapil Mahajan, Prof Nidhi Palli, Prof Charanjeet Kour, Prof Poonam Sabharwal and Prof Anita Bhat. |
