SPF demands Sikh representation in Govt | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 25: All J&K Sikh Progressive Front (SPF) today held a meeting of its executive body under the leadership of its president Rajinder Singh and passed a resolution demanding due representation to Sikh community in upcoming government in the state. As per press release, Rajinder Singh urged state and central leadership that while forming the Government in Jammu and Kashmir due representation be given to Sikh Community in the council of ministers as slogan given by Prime Minister Narinder Modi "Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vikas" He said that majority of Sikh Voters cast their votes in favour of BJP candidates in recently concluding election and with result BJP is able to win the 25 seats from Jammu region ignoring their own Sikh candidates. Those who were present in the meeting included Surjeet Singh, Waryam Singh, Prof Daljit Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Mohan Singh and Iqbal Singh. |
