NSS unit of GDC Reasi conducts rally on 'Beti Bacho, Beti Padao'

REASI, Feb 25: NSS Unit of Government Degree College, Reasi conducted a rally on 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padao' in the NSS adopted village Agar Balliyana in Reasi under the supervision of Prof. Rajesh Sharma during the ongoing NSS annual camp.
According to press release, Principal of the College, Prof. Koushal Samotra flagged off the rally. She instructed the students to convey the message 'To Save A Girl Child' to the villagers so that Females can also lead of life of dignity. She suggested the students to spread the message in the society that we should not feel any difference between male and female babies.
During the rally NSS Volunteers were having display cards in which slogans like Beti Bachao Beti Padao, do not kill daughters before birth, always give equal treatment to both male as well as female babies, daughters are proud of all of us and others were displaced.
The rally started from the College Campus and passing through the newly constructed district hospital, Reasi covering some streets of the NSS adopted village Agar Balliyana.
Prof. Rajesh Sharma (NSS Prog.Officer) also awared the NSS Volunteers to convey the general masses to give Equal respect to the females, to give proper Education to the daughters like sons, not to kill daughters before birth, Always save a girl child so that females can also live a life of dignity.
Finally the rally concluded back in the main campus of the College.
The staff members of the College Bavneet Kour (Lect. in Botany), Sakishma (Lect.in Biotechnology) Arun Sharma (Lect. in Zoology) also participated in the Rally.
