Jammu, Feb 25: Government Gandhi Memorial Science College (GGMSC) is organizing 2nd National Symposium on Interdisciplinary Sciences NISS-II on February 27 to 28, 2015. According to press release, the aim of conducting this symposium is to bring students, scholars, researchers and scientific community on a single platform for exchange of ideas, knowledge, experience and trends. The purpose of this event is to enrich and broaden their area of knowledge about the scientific researches and developments that have taken place and to know how these developments have had an influence on the way we work and society in general. The college, in a way is providing a podium to the local institutions to interact with their counterparts from various parts of India as well as representatives from local universities for sharing and disseminating new ideas in the field of science and technology. The technical sessions spreading over two days include- plenary talks, invited talks, oral presentations, poster presentations and a special interactive session for students from various colleges of the state. |
