JPUF warns BJP of dire consequences if it sold Jammu peoples’ mandate
2/26/2015 2:37:20 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 25: Balwant Singh Mankotia, convener of the Jammu Pradesh United Front(JPUF) and other senior leaders of various parties and core members of the front appealed warned BJP to face the wrath in case it sold out the mandate of Jammu Pradesh for the sake of power.
Balwant Singh Mankotia said that the mist over the government formation has been cleared as the two diametrically opposite poles, that is, the BJP and the PDP have converged to cobble up an alliance for the ruling dispensation.
He said it was good that both the parties were finding ways for the government formation but if that has been done at the cost of the aspirations of the people of Jammu Division then the Saffron Party should get ready to face the dire consequences.
He said that the front has kept a strict vigil over the political developments in the state and is waiting for the CMP to be publically announced.
If the published dossier had not kept in place the electoral assurances and promises given by the BJP ahead of the Assembly elections then it would be seen as a act of gross betrayal with the electorate of Jammu region and in that case the JPUF shall confront the Saffron party outside the legislature to uphold the mandate of the people at all costs.
Balwant Singh added that it is a high time now that the people of Jammu province should get united and fight for their rights leaving behind their petty interests to secure the future of the forthcoming generations once and for all.
