JK ReT Forum deputation calls on Education Minister 3/30/2015 12:09:39 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 29: A deputation of JK ReT Forum led by senior trade union leader Gazi Abdul Aziz called on Education Minister Naeem Akhter at Civil Secretariat late this afternoon here today. Many issues including improvisation of educational system in Jammu & Kashmir state were discussed at length in the meeting. There was also threadbare discussion regarding strategies to be adopted for improvement of examination results and provision of quality education in Government institutions. The poor infrastructure, defective curriculum, poor role of DIETs and negligence on part of some teachers were found the main causes of weak performance in Government sector. The deputation assured the Minister of full cooperation on behalf of teachers community for implementations of constructive policies and programmes of education department for the welfare of the students of the state and making of the Education system purely child centered and dignity of teachers was felt the solution of all the faults.
