People express gratitude for highlighting demand for water supply 4/19/2015 11:41:29 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Apr.19:- People hailing from Mehtabgarh village just 4 Km away to Gateway to J&K, Lakhanpur today organized a brief but impressive function to express gratitude to Early Times real Voice of J&K in its edition of Feb 16. 2015 highlighted long pending demand of the villagers for scarcity of drinking water that waked up Kathua administration from deep slumber. The administration took favorable action to set up water pipes and restore water supply within days to redress the long pending demand of the ST community. It is mandatory to mention here that ET highlighted the 67 years old pending demands of the people in its edition that stir the Kathua administration, an immediate action was taken and Officers from PHE Civil department rushed in the village and made estimate of the development work.
