Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 19: Appointment of Prof Ashok Aima as Vice Chancellor of prestigious Central University Jammu has landed Sangh workers in quandary because they could not decide to go which way. On the one hand, they are regularly teach in the Shakha that Sangh is supreme while on the other hand they are they are realizing the reality that power brokers like Sanjay Kachroo are more powerful than Sangathan.
The Sangh cadre is helplessly watching how power-brokers, with the connivance of BJP leader who is also deputed by the Sangh in the BJP, are tightening their grips on the BJP and Sangathan has virtually became irrelevant rather helpless.
A senior RSS leader, who wished not to be quoted, said that during the last couple of years a lobby has became very active in the BJP with the help of the senior party functionary. This lobby has virtually hijacked the party and started sidelining strong RSS background leaders in the party. It was result of this lobby that leaders with RSS background have been marginalized and those who have money power were given important position in the BJP.
Credible sources in the BJP said that appointment of Prof Ashok Aima has boosted moral of this lobby because Sangh had used all its force to appoint "own dedicated man" as Vice-Chancellor Central University Jammu to ensure proper functioning of the University. "A strong lobby in BJP, who had managed Legislative Council seat for Surinder Ambardar, has again defeated Sangh by getting Prof Aima appointed as Vice Chancellor", sources said and this lobby has utilized services of controversial ex-OSD of HRD Minister, Smriti Irani to foil Sangh's move to appoint own man as Vice Chancellor.
Although Sanjay Kachroo has been thrown out of HRD Ministry after exposure of certain scams, he has already done a great damage to Sangh in J&K. His supporters in J&K BJP are hopeful that he will come back to power very soon.
