| Placement drive under NSDC UDAAN concludes | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Apr 25 : Two days mega recruitment drive organised by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in collaboration with Government Degree College Rajouri concluded. The drive was sponsored by Ministry of Home Affairs Govt. of India.
According to press release, overall 260 graduates, postgraduate students, youth from twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch participated in the mega recruitment drive in two days out of which 205 were selected for training in various companies, corporate houses which include Accenture, Shristi Infrastructure, IL and FS, IMS Health, Orion Security Solutions manpower services, Mount Talent Councelling, Multicare Services, Prolific Systems, Reliance HR Services and Sehaj e Village.
The placement drive was organised under the supervision of Dr. JA Qazi, Principal of the college and was co-ordinated by Dr. Abdul Raouf Co-Ordinator UDAAN GDC Rajouri. Komal Koul and Anisha pandita UDAAN Strategic Projects actively carried out the proceedings of the drive in consonance with the representatives of participating companies/corporate houses.
Principal of the college Dr. JA Qazi congratulated those selected during the placement drive and wished them good luck in all their future endeavours. He also expressed special thanks to all the eleven companies for the placement of local youth from this border, hilly and remote part of J&K State. |
