One of the members present in the meeting pointed out that the working of secretary has been so arbitrary that even the mandatory AGMs (Annual General Body Meetings) were not conducted on time and no minutes of the proceedings were ever shared by him with other office bearers and the governing body. Earlier, the members of the governing body today assembled at the fixed venue and time but the general secretary, who was supposed to conduct and attend the meeting, failed to attend the meeting and also did not reply to the points raised in an earlier meeting where after no confidence motion was moved which was approved by the by consensus. Consequently, general secretary was removed from the post and the governing body decided that the charge be given to Sanam Soni till the elections are held. JKRA takes pride in informing that the founding members and some of the other current office bearers have been making physical and financial contributions at their own expense to keep the Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association live and kicking and therefore the governing body may not allow one individual whose work and conduct has been found unbecoming of irresponsible office bearer, to spoil the aim and working of JKRA. The governing body also requested its president to keep guiding and leading the JKRA as he expressed his wish to disassociate himself from the Association. |
