JPS &ETTI Association alleges single BOSE officer handling top positions | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 25: Jammu Pvt. Schools & ETT Institutes Association (Progressive) alleged that the casual approach of the state government towards working of JK state Board where single official is being allowed to perform against three top positions of Joint Secretary, Secretary and acting Chairperson. In a statement issued here, association said Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and State education minister must initiate some prompt reforms related to the required functioning of JK school Board while creating two posts of secretary as permanent arrangement for both divisions, Association urged. Association further alleged that so-called priority field of education in J&K had faced total rough weather since last fifteen years where worst level corruption touched all possible heights. Congress the newly emerging so-called sympathizer of state residents and an effective coalition partner was the main culprit for the said cruelty. Government education sector was merely emerged as money minting appointment/transfer industry whereas total casual handling was nurtured within private sector while ignoring the honest efforts of credible lot among stakeholders who suffered due to complete non seriousness of concerned ministry and its corrupt administrative machinery. Association also repeatedly asked to initiate the reforms exercise based on public debates with participation of stakeholders but merely faced a deaf and dumb response always. State Board of school education the one of the prestigious institute dealing with over ten Lakh School going students of state never allowed to work by the corrupt ruling class in a credible or transparent manner with the result it had emerged merely as milky cow for the vested interests, Association alleged. Much need coordination between JK Board & the private stakeholders was never allowed due to a system of malpractice and related misdeeds of rulers, it further alleged. "New state government no doubt seems honest for the time being but it Bull-cart speed towards needed reforms certainly seems suspicious as per bitter experience of the previous coalition regimes of state, "association observed. |
