INSAF demands independent inquiry | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 5: International Sikh Awareness Front (INSAF) expressed a strong resentment against the biased and arbitrary attitude of the District Administration and Police authorities of Kishtwar. Addressing a press conference, Makhan Singh Former Member District Gurudwara Parbhandak committee alleged that some miscreants attacked 116 years old Gurudwara Sahib and forcibly threw out the family of a Granthi in the Sarai which is a part of the Gurudwara Comptex. He alleged that police present at the spot not only become a mute spectator but also helped these miscreants. He further challenged the Deputy Commissioner and SSP Kishtwar who on the next day of this incident declared that all these are rumours and nothing such has been happened in this context whereas the reality is totally different. Demanding for an independent inquiry by the sitting High Court Judge, Bachan Singh - Retd DC appealed to the Chief Minister J&K State that if immediately FIR would not be lodged and the culprit were not booked under law, the Sikh community will not hesitate to start a mass scale agitation. |
