JAMMU, May 5: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has sought immediate release of the list of corrupt officials, whose names are with the State Vigilance Organization. According to press release, a meeting of senior office bearers of NCP was held today under the leadership of Thakur Randhir Singh.The NCP leaders observed that it was shocking to notice that Mahatama Gandhi National Rural Employment Gurantte Act (MGNREGA )funds were used for political rallies by BDOs. "Singh said it is not only the district Rajouri but throughout the state where funds under Mahatama Gandhi National Rural Employment Gurantee Act was utilized for organizing political rallies rather to help the poor rural people by guranateeing them 100 days employment", he said. State NCP also discussed immediate action against the officials responsible for the biggest land scam declared by the J&K High court in the state of Jammu and Kashmir called Roshini act which is illegal as it violated the doctrine of equality. |
